Onesimus - the rest of the story

As Paul Harvey would say, "and now for the rest of the story" on our new Zambian friend, Onesimus.  What happens when you mix an unfinished plumbing job, a plumber driven to complete it, a team member whose dream is to see Victoria Falls with  his son and a planned day of recreation?  You got it... God does a mighty work! On Saturday, when the rest of the team spent time at Victoria Falls, two team members stayed behind to finish what they thought was going to be a plumbing job.  What they didn't know was God's plan for their time with our friend Onesimus.  Turns out they were used to complete God's work on two houses.  God used the team members sacrfice to open a door, with plumbing analogies, to share His message of salvation.  The really cool part is the Zambians are an oral culture, they listen attentively and remember what they hear.  Onesimus was like a tape recorder.  He now has two new skills and is ready to employ them here in Zimba.  Only God knows the homes where He will use our friend to repair plumbing and share His good news!!
