China Team at PHF - Wednesday

Dear friends and family,
It's Wednesday at lunch time, and I have just found the opportunity and connectivity to blog.  Sorry for the delay, we have been having issues with access here for the last two days. There's so much to say, I hardly know where to begin.  We are all doing fine.  We are also having an incredible time together with constant laughter.  The Lord was gracious to provide us with a comedian or two, so there's not been a dull moment.  On the other hand, there have also been moments of tears as we've touched, held, and played with these precious children.  I can say they have captured our hearts long before today.  For many of us, it was "love at first site".  Unless you see it for yourself, I really don't know how you can understand it.  If you were here, this what you would see:

John and Eric weeping with compassion over a precious little girl, Mei Mei, that has an inoperable heart condition.
Jeanie, our music academy director, bringing groups of children to life with her music sessions.  We brought little instruments for all the children to join in and we plan on having a parade toward the end of the week.
Dave, teaching a gifted blind boy, Jameson, to play the guitar.  (All the children in the house when into a gleeful celebration).
Sharon, making the children laugh and have smiles ear-to-ear.
Stan, willing to share Zoey, his sweetheart, so that the other guys could also hold her.
Barbara, holding a child and sharing just how precious they are.  And today, teaching an English lesson to the preschool teacher.
Dawn, doing her miracle of art with the kids.  You should see their art work or better yet, purchase it.
Jennifer, showing her compassion to the children. It's just a matter of time before she will be an expert on PHF.

We continue to have incredible times of worship every morning that inspires our team to serve.  Others keep telling us how blessed they've been to hear the worship.
Keep praying for us and the children.  There's more to come.
