Global Summer Interns Begin!

Our inaugural College Global Summer Interns have officially begun!

Jackie Hill & Tyler Pettigrew participated in a week long preparation program, were officially commissioned by our church staff, and left for Africa on Monday. We just spoke to our missionary in Zambia...Jackie and Tyler have arrived, all of their luggage made it as well (a small miracle in Africa), and they slept most of the day after the long flight. They are both well and had a great time discussing politics and faith with strangers in the Johannesburg airport! They will have a day of orientation and then move into their respective ministries.

Safety for Jackie & Tyler throughout the program
Great effectiveness in their work with the churches in Zambia
Peace for their family members while they are away
New relationships with leaders from this distant culture
A greater sense of passion for people around the world
A new sense of awareness about God's mission in our day
A clear sense of calling for how God wants to use them for His Kingdom
