Saturday Update
OK...We had an opportunity for one more update before leaving for the airport.
This morning we got out a bit later. It was the Sabbath here and everything is slower and quieter. Many of us took walks on the shore, read our bibles, and prayed on the shores of the Mediteranean Sea. We walked about an hour and located the old city and original port of Jaffa (biblical Joppa), including the home of Simon the Tanner where Peter had his vision when Cornelius sent for him. We had a wonderful lunch looking over the port and enjoyed cappucino while the afternoon rain passed over.
The last member of our team told their "story" tonight. That process of hearing where each person has come from physically and spiritually before praying for them is always a highlight...This trip was no exception.
We will leave for the airport in a couple of hours and be back in Memphis about 4:30 PM Sunday afternoon.
