Tuesday Update from Israel

We headed off to the Awad's home this morning and then on to the church to complete our work. We put the varnish on the pews we refinished the day before, the ladies cleaned and organized the children's Sunday School area and we even harvested some olives from the grove on the church grounds.

We returned to the college for a late lunch, then our guide rejoined us for a trip to Herodian (Herod's Summer Palace), Solomon's Pools, and Solomon's Garden (see Song of Songs). We will be having dinner with Bishara Awad tonight (President of the Bethlehem Bible College) and then pack up to begin our journey again tomorrow.

We will now be touring for the next 4 days, beginning at the Dead Sea up through Galilee, so we appreciate your prayers for our travel. We will provide further updates as our evening accomodations will allow.
